How we got started, and where we are going.
Miles “Turbo” Tolle was our beloved son, whom we lost unexpectedly in September of 2025. Miles was the joy of our family—always upbeat and always trying to make everyone around him laugh. His smile, energy, and curiosity brought happiness to everyone who knew him.
Miles loved being outdoors. He could often be found digging in the dirt, exploring, and spending time with family. One of his favorite things was heading out to the backyard with his dad and older brother to smack a golf ball around and be part of the fun.
The nickname “Turbo” perfectly captured his spirit—full of energy, always moving, and bringing life to every moment.
After losing Miles, our family wanted to find a way to honor his life and the joy he brought into the world. From that desire, the Miles Tolle Foundation was created. Our goal is to carry Miles’ spirit forward by raising awareness of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), supporting research, and helping other families who face similar loss.
Through community events, outreach, and support initiatives, we hope to create something lasting in Miles’ memory—something that brings people together, spreads awareness, and helps ensure his energy and spirit continue to make a difference.
Where we are nowToday, the Miles Tolle Foundation is focused on honoring Miles’ memory by turning love and loss into meaningful action. What began as a way for our family to honor Miles’ life has grown into a mission to raise awareness of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), support research efforts, and provide connection and support for families who have experienced similar loss.
Our foundation works to bring the community together through charitable events, outreach, and education. One of the first initiatives is the Turbo Tolle Memorial, a community golf tournament created in Miles’ memory that helps raise awareness and support the mission of the foundation.
As we continue to grow, the Miles Tolle Foundation hopes to expand its efforts by supporting research, building partnerships, and creating opportunities to connect with and support other families affected by SUDC. Our goal is to ensure that Miles’ spirit-his energy, joy, and love for life-continues to inspire something positive in the world.
Every step forward is guided by the same purpose: to honor Miles’ life and help create awareness, understanding, and support for families who need it.
